Attending Konsoll

Vikings and mead

We finally got to show off our two current projects(Owlboy and Vikings On Trampolines) again this weekend. A new Norwegian event set in Bergen named Konsoll, of which Simon designed the logo, invited us for an evening of fun and games. Our games.

Being the creator of Vikings On Trampolines, I set off to boast my unbalanced skills. I posed a challenge, whoever could beat me at my own game, got a free beer from the bar! Needless to say, at the end of the evening, my wallet had taken a deep impact. Good times.

Getting away from the battle with only a couple of scars(on my personal economy), I’d write this event up as a great one! Thanks goes out to the nice people who invited us!

I check this webpage quite often. Maybe twice a week in hope for a Demo or some more pictures etc of “Owl Boy”.

Cant you guys try to add new screenshots etc, and plix speed things up so we can play some owlie ;)

I for one don’t feel the same as Thomas – I’d rather not spoil anything, I haven’t played the demo because I want to experience it all when it’s finally completed.. And I’m VERY relieved to know that the D-Padders are not willing to release a game pre-maturely.. I’d rather them take another 6 months after a planned release date if it makes that big of a difference in overall quality..

Can’t wait to get my hands on both of these games, and it’s exciting to think of what you guys might work on in the future.. I do look forward to these little news updates, even if there aren’t any mind blowing Owl Boy spoilers.. ;P

Hoping there’s a possibility of a single player mode for V.O.T, not that it necessarily needs one..

Our main concern when releasing new Owlboy screens/vids are spoilers. Allthough we know we can’t build hype by keeping secrets, we also hate giving out spoilers. It’s a tough choice, considering we’ve got many great things to announce that would make fans go ballistic. We’ll be doing more spolier-free announcements very soon, we promise :-)

Since a release date is fairly spoiler free, maybe you could give us that. :)
    Or at least some approximation.

It was so fun having you there! Thank you for coming!

I am dreaming about this game(owl boy). There are some rare games that i feel like that while waiting. I got a question, how long will be the game lengh (in hours).

@Mauricio Fidalgo: Hard to say, we’ve yet to play through the whole thing in one go. If I was to determine it based on how much we’ve added to the game, I think about 10h(give or take). There’s alot of secrets to uncover. I can give a more definite answer once we’ve started testing for full.
