Loafing around San Francisco

24.3.2009 By Simon

Ze city itself. Looking pretty city-ish. Yup.

Can't go to San Francisco without riding the trams. It's like penguins without waddling.

And I don't want to upset the penguins...

Boats. And water.

You've probably guessed that this is fisherman's warf already. You know, because of the boats and all.

Some nice looking ships. Got some shots of Alkatraz too, which is just to the left here, but I'm planning on going there later, so I'll wait with those for another time.

Peer 39's sealions. It's a horribly tacky place, but It's free, so I'm not complaining. It's sealions after all.

Not always easy to tell if they're displaying dominance or just if they're just really tired.

Next up was Chinatown. Since I've already been to China, I suppose I had some expectations of what to expect. Still, I can always appretiate browsing through things I usually don't see. Like this wall painting.

Wonder what they do to the people that hug rats.

Can't really explain this one. The contrast just made for a nice composition.

Thankfully, I always bring a map...

And now we know where Jimmy and Billy ended up after cleaning up the streets.

Next up are the actual convention photos, but I've got a good few bits to add to it and there's a lot to sort through, so I'll get on that tomorrow. Until then!
